Who we are

Kindred K9 is a trading name of Pacific Edge Holdings Limited. Debi De Lange runs it and looks after your information.

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, suburb or town, and anything you choose to tell us about your dog (name, breed, age, whether desexed, what you would like help with, and how you heard about us). If you phone or email Debi directly, we receive whatever you tell her.

Why

To reply to your enquiry and work out how Debi can help you and your dog. We don't use your details for anything unrelated, we don't sell them, and we don't share them for marketing.

Who sees it

Debi. Your enquiry is sent as an email to her mailbox, which is hosted by Porkbun. The website itself is hosted by DigitalOcean, with servers in Sydney, Australia, and we don't keep a copy of your enquiry on the website. Like most websites, the host records technical details such as your IP address in its server logs for security. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when you visit. Some of these services store information outside New Zealand.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie is a sign-in cookie that Debi's own admin pages use.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to help you, and a reasonable time afterwards for our records. Ask us sooner if you'd like it deleted.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the information we hold about you and to have it corrected. Contact Debi on 022 379 9882 or at debi@kindredk9.co.nz. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
